“There was a beautiful sweetness in the fall air, it was harvest season and everyone was full of energy in the countryside as it was time to bring in the fruits of their labor from the whole year. Most of our guests arrived for a full week, so we enjoyed quality time with our closest family and friends. A medieval dinner, pool BBQ’s overlooking the spectacular views of the Tuscan hills, wine tasting, grape harvesting and more all gave our guests a chance to relax, get to know each other, and spend quality time together which really set the tone for the big day. Our wedding day was everything we ever dreamed of and I was blown away with how well the winery property served as the venue and the artisan work of our vendors. The delicious food, wine, and flowers all contributed to the beauty of the wedding. However, it was the simple, raw beauty that stood out- The rolling hillsides, 16th century villas, olive groves, exposed brick and rock facades that just scream “Welcome to Authentic Tuscany!” After the success of our wedding it was one of our dreams to start offering weddings on the property.”

The cocktail hour took place immediately after the ceremony and their guests enjoyed typical Tuscan appetizers with various types of Italian meats and cheeses with the quaint sound of the live music which played from the band in the background.

“The countryside is inspiring in itself and I wanted to play off its beauty and incorporate it into the details of our wedding. Freshly cut lavender and white linens were used within the tables and throughout the venue. Shabby chic elements were brought in such as lounge furniture made from historic wood olive crates, our seating chart which hung from a beautiful tree within the garden and really created a charming and relaxing setting. Different aromatic herbs and lace were used throughout the place settings and as favors for the guests. It was a very special evening as we all had dinner and celebrated our special day within the winery garden under the stars.”

We worked directly with their travel agent who planned and booked their guests itineraries, accommodations, rental vehicles etc. The groom even surprised his bride with a red Ferrari for their getaway car.

For most of their guests, it was the first time out of the country and we were happy to assist them to make sure they were comfortable and enjoyed every bit of their time in Italy.

“My husband and I stayed with Famiglia Buccelletti for a week before our wedding that we had the pleasure of having at the winery. Tuscany holds a very special place in our heart and the Buccelletti Family had the full package we were looking for. They have a beautiful new ceremony space and the ability to have breathtaking views of Tuscany from a 4 different properties that can accommodate approximately 54 guests.

Once we arrived to our villa, Borgo Gaggioleto, we were in heaven! All guests had their names on the doors and we were welcomed with a bottle of wonderful champagne. The property grounds are manicured and designed perfectly. As a fellow landscape designer, I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of beautiful gardens they had. Each pathway led to another villa where we could visit our guests and hidden patios allowed for intimate morning coffee. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. They continued to show us throughout the week their true passion for hospitality and wine.

Wedding Experience: Renee’ Buccelletti, the wedding coordinator, was phenomenal to work with. She is very responsive and has an eye for beautiful detail. She also is an American that speaks Italian, which helps with vendor relations and keeps your mind at ease (very important for a bride planning a wedding overseas). With wonderful preparation, her team had everything covered- Giusy, Carla, Lidia, Roberta and Federica are all so pleasant and easy to work with! It is amazing to see a great group of women really embrace this industry and put their heart and soul into it.
