Lidia was born and raised in Castiglion Fiorentino. Married to Bartolomeo Buccelletti, she is one of the founders, along with sister-in-law Roberta, of the company BUCCELLETTI CASALI & CANTINA. She acquired the sommelier diploma after completing courses to improve her knowledge of winemaking techniques. Her deep passion for wine always has lead to a continuous creativity in the cellar and new products. She stopped her studies of physical therapy for family reasons when she was young and managed with determination to achieve her goal of receiving a diploma in Naturopathy recently and now is at your disposal for advice on natural cures. For the same motives and passion she personally takes care of the family vegetable garden, which is available to guests.
Equipped with a strong empathy for others, she is always a reference works with the team and to solve any difficulties or unexpected situations that may arise. Her ability to relate led her to hold the position of Presidente Provinciale Coldiretti which represents a farmers association.
Roberta was born and raised in Castiglion Fiorentino. She graduated in 1992, shortly after she began her teaching career. In 1993 she married Cesare Buccelletti and shortly thereafter she decided to radically change her life: with her sister-in-law Lidia, she decided to pursue her dream to revitalize the family business that fell into abandonment. She began to take courses to learn more about wine-making, wine, and hospitality. Thus began the story of “Buccelletti Casali & Cantina”, She welcomed and familiarized guests to the area often with a good glass of wine.
After nearly 25 years in the industry, Roberta is still passionate about her work, she likes to tell the story of the family and pass on the knowledge that she has gained. Roberta handles the administrative part of the company, she also has a great eye for design and works closely to design each of our wine, olive oil labels and company branding. Being a photography enthusiast she puts her skills in order to best represent BUCCELLETTI CASALI & CANTINA.
Renee is American from Southern California. She lived in Castiglion Fiorentino while she was studying her bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture. During this time she met Michele Buccelletti, now her husband, thanks to a grape harvest organized by Famiglia Buccelletti and the local university she was attending; Santa Chiara. At first they moved to California and lived in San Diego for four years where she gained extensive knowledge in marketing and business. While starting to plan for a family they decided it was time to go back to Italy and start working within the family business to keep beautiful history of the family alive for another generation.
Renee loves what she does and loves to welcome guests in Tuscany to make sure they have a wonderful and authentic experience of Tuscany. After having her wedding here at the property she was inspired to start the wedding business which she actively runs today with the family. She works directly with travel agents and guests to provide the highest customer service and you will see her around the winery with her son, Gianni. Renee enjoys working with people and developing long-term relationships with our guests.
Giusy was born in Sicily, and worked alongside Lidia and Roberta since 2006. She has not only become a part of the family, but it is a key member of our team. She deals directly with suppliers and manages the organizational side of things to make our guests’ vacation smooth and pleasant. Giusy loves meeting people from all over the world and makes her skills available to provide advice and suggestions so that the customer can spend an unforgettable holiday with us.
Passionate about communication, she manages the company’s social channels and is currently responsible for the Italian and European market.
Erika was born in Arezzo in 1997, and after a bachelor degree in linguistic mediation, decided to jump into the wine and tourism business, using her linguistic skills in public relation. She works side by side with the family since 2022, and together with Marianna manages the Tasting Room and the Reception.
Erika takes to heart the wellness of every guest; she devotes herself to giving the best hospitality possible to everyone, from direct sales and wine tours, to the check-ins at the farmhouses. Her aim is to create an involving atmosphere and share with passion the story and excellence of the Buccelletti’s products
Marianna has been working with the Buccelletti family since 2022. With a master degree in International Business and Development, after a short experience in foreign trade, she decided to follow the path of hospitality and wine tourism. Always fascinated by the world of wine, she qualified as a sommelier.
Her main focus is the management of the winery’s tasting room and the promotion of the winery during wine and food events. Sunny, extroverted and keen to meet new people and cultures, she has found the perfect expression of her character in this job.
